Sekolah Ramah Jiwa: Psikoedukasi Penguatan Peran Guru Sebagai Garda Terdepan Kesehatan Mental Siswa

Kesehatan mental adalah aspek krusial bagi perkembangan akademik dan sosial remaja di sekolah. Namun, data Riskesdas menunjukkan peningkatan masalah mental seperti kecemasan dan perundungan di sekolah. Meski guru memiliki peran strategis dalam deteksi dini, banyak yang belum dibekali pengetahuan memadai tentang kesehatan mental siswanya. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian: Sekolah Ramah Jiwa melalui KKN-Tematik mendesak untuk dilaksanakan guna menjembatani kesenjangan kompetensi tersebut. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan peran aktif guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang ramah jiwa melalui pemberian psikoedukasi. Hasil uji paired sample t-test terhadap 34 peserta menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 13,94 (SD 1,071) menjadi 14,12 (SD 1,200) setelah psikoedukasi, yang mengindikasikan adanya perbaikan pemahaman peserta. Selain itu, dari 21 responden yang mengisi umpan balik, seluruhnya menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dalam menambah wawasan pendidik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pengabdian dalam bentuk psikoedukasi ini berhasil memberikan pengaruh positif dalam mengoptimalkan peran guru menjaga kesehatan mental siswa di sekolah.
